There are two types of people in the world, those who would take an Alzheimer's patient on a joy ride and those who would say it was a waste of time.

“You don't stop laughing when you grow old, you grow old when you stop laughing.”

I am a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I also hold a certificate in Senior Fitness from ACE and a certificate in Functional Fitness from Exercise Inc. I design individualized programs based on the client’s current fitness level. I take into consideration you current abilities and using body weight, exercise bands, and free weight, design a program that is designed to help you meet your goals.

My approach to fitness is to help you become the best you, which you can be.  I believe being healthy is and should always be the most important goal.  While that may mean different things to each individual, for me being healthy, means that a person is able to do the things they need and want to do.

While weight is an issue for many, being functionally fit is as important if not more important than the number on the scale.  I want to partner with you to be able to perform all the activities you need / want to perform in you life.  I want to help you improve your:

  • Over all strength
  • Flexibility
  • Self Confidence
  • Improve your self image.

I partner with you to meet your goals and then challenge you to set higher goals and meet those as well.

In addition to working with those 50+, I have experience working with clients who have memory issues. While exercise will not cure memory loss, it can help slow the process. While, exercise increases blood flow and helps prevent muscle loss, therefore preventing functional mobility loss, I feel there are added benefits for those battling memory issues.  Exercising regularly help fight depression while providing more social interaction. My goal is to provide the client with a sense of accomplishment. I want clients to feel they are not giving in to their condition. By fighting as a team to slow the process of memory loss, I hope to provide a sense of empowerment.
